Napoli took home a 1-0 victory against Liverpool in a Champions League match last Wednesday. The team won with a great help from 24-year-old Arkadiusz Milik for the first 68 minutes he played and Lorenzo Insigne’s late winning goal.
Some unfortunate news followed the Polish footballer on his way back to Varcaturo district after the game where gunmen stopped his vehicle for a robbery. It was around 2 am when a motorbike blocked the road and had a gun pointed directly at the player’s face, simultaneously demanding to give up his expensive valuables.
Milik willingly surrendered his Rolex Daytona watch amounting to the cost of £18,000. The player was fine and was not harmed as the robbers fled the scene. The incident was reported to the police by Milik who has started investigations regarding the late night robbery.
