Ethan Ampadu who happens to be a football teen sensation has recently joined Chelsea and was spotted training with the team for their match against Liverpool for the Carabao Cup. The 18-year-old football star is presumed to be making an appearance at Anfield.
Ampadu was seen in a positive and care-free disposition as he interacts with Chelsea players Willian and Olivier Giroud. So far, Ampadu has appeared in seven first-team matches but is still on the road to getting Maurizio Sarri’s attention on the field. The Wales international player, along with Callum Hudson-Odoi is set to face Liverpool with the squad, according to assistant manager Gianfranco Zola.
“Callum has done extremely well in pre-season, one of the players who impressed the most with Ethan Ampadu. They’re two players with bright futures. They are both in contention tomorrow, in the squad, and we will see. But he’s in a very competitive team. He has to be patient, wait for his opportunities and, when they come, take them in the best way.” Zola adds.
